The penultimate race in the Pendle & Burnley Grand Prix series, 7 mile trail race around the beautiful Countryside of Worsthorne.

Registration is at the The Crooked Billet Pub, 1 Smith St, Worsthorne, Burnley, BB10 3NQ, opens at 9.00am and will close promptly 15 minutes before Senior race start at 11am. Senior race starts in the field above the Vicarage on Gorple Road.
Everyone is welcome back at The Crooked Billet pub after the race, where a fine selection of ales and pie & peas will be on sale.
Please remember to park responsibly in the Village: this is really important and MUST be adhered to. The future of the race will be at risk if there are problems caused by parking.
DO NOT park on the road outside the Crooked Billet.
DO NOT park near the houses on Gorple Road.
DO NOT park and obstruct the flow of traffic through the village.
Please park on the road above the the Vicarage.
Parking is available on the road below Worsthorne School. This is only a 5 minute walk to registration.
Kit requirements are as follows: A waterproof jacket with a hood and waterproof bottoms are to be brought with you on the day. You will be advised by the race organiser to carry it with you if the weather is bad.
Course is fully marked out and there will be a tail runner to sweep the course.
Junior Races will start at 10:15am (registration closes at 10am), cost of entry is £2
All the races start from the field above the Vicarage on Gorple Road.
Trail shoes will be required due to the nature of the course.
Goodie bag to all finishers.
Junior Races in order:
U15s/U17s – out and back to a turnaround point above Gorple. approx 3.5k
U13s – out and back to a turnaround point up Gorple Road. approx 2.2k
U11s – 2 laps of the field. approx 1.8k
U7s/U9s – 1 lap of the field. approx 0.9k
